Description
The CE-7012 is a versatile tool that includes several functionalities in a single equipment for testing the electrical system. This portable instrument, ideal for both field and laboratory, is capable of testing / calibrating / gauging the most diverse types of equipment, whether at primary or secondary levels.
At primary levels it can be used to test current transformers (CT), potential transformers (VT), switches, disconnectors, circuit breakers, grounds and power transformers.
For secondary levels it can be used to test relays: electromechanical, static or microprocessed. Due to its high precision in signal generation, it is used to measure transducers and power quality analyzer. Another feature is in the circuit breaker oscillography.
It has 6 current channels and 6 voltage channels with high precision for carrying out the most different tests. Being totally controlled by software (virtual instrumentation), allowing manual and automatic tests. It uses Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to create waveforms, allowing frequencies up to 3 KHz continuously.
Performs transformation ratio tests (TTR), measures winding resistance, contact resistance (Microhmmeter) and insulation resistance (Megometer). Lift the saturation curve of CT’s and check the polarity automatically.
With software solutions for testing the most different protection relay functions: Overcurrent, Differential, Distance, Directional, Negative Sequence, Over and Under Frequency, Over and Under Voltage, among others. With automatic creation of test reports and comparison with their characteristics in order to indicate whether the result is approved.
Performs IED’s tests with the IEC-61850 / IEC-61869 standards protocol receiving and sending GOOSE and Sampled Value (SV) messages. Compares the times between traditional contact (rigid copper wiring) and sending the event via ethernet network via GOOSE msg. Allowing the testing of any protection function using msg’s GOOSE. Evaluates possible differences between the analog signal and the SV msg.
Ideal for use in factory acceptance tests (TAF) and field acceptance tests (TAC).

The control of the test set is done through the software Conprove Test Center “CTC”.
