Description
Applications:
- End-to-End Testing using Conprove Test Set CE-6003, CE-6006, CE-6707, CE-6710, CE-7012.
- Teleprotection Testing;
- Coordination Testing;
- Traveling Waves (TW) Testing;
- Testing involving the IEC-61850 standard and Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs).
The CE-GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) equipment is a lightweight and portable time and frequency reference for use in tests that require time synchronization and frequency stability, such as those related to the scope of applications described above.
He was designed to be used in tests requiring time synchronization related to the IEC 61850 standard, PMU testing, and protection testing.
In end-to-end line protection tests, where teleprotection exists, it is vital that both Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) at the ends of the line see the same situation. Therefore, the use of GPS to synchronize the test trigger is essential.
The CE-GNSS is controlled by the same software used in the test sets, the CTC (Conprove Test Center), which is extremely easy to configure. It can be fully utilized with the CE-6003, CE-6006, CE-6707, CE-6710, CE-7012, and CE-7024 models.
It receives signals from the GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and Galileo satellite constellations. It allows programming the trigger with up to 100 nanoseconds resolution. It enables synchronization of two or more units that are far apart, with an accuracy of 1 microsecond or better. It shows the precise location of the equipment by providing longitude, latitude, and altitude.
