International Connections and Advances in Testing and Automation
Conprove attended the CIGRE Canada 2025 Symposium, held in Montreal—one of the largest international events in the power sector—bringing together 11 of CIGRE’s 16 study committees to discuss the future of power generation, transmission, and automation.
During the event, we had the honor of welcoming Professor Peter Crossley from the University of Manchester, a contemporary of Conprove’s founder, Dr. Paulo Sergio Pereira, during their PhD years. On this occasion, we presented our latest developments in testing, automation, and protection for electrical power systems, reinforcing our commitment to technological innovation and industry excellence.
Featured Technical Paper
In addition to this valuable exchange, Conprove presented the technical paper:
“Secondary Injection Testing in Merging Units Considering Low Power Instrument Transformer Technology,” developed in partnership with SecuControl.
The paper addressed key challenges and solutions to improve reliability and accuracy in digital substations, considering the use of Low Power Instrument Transformer (LPIT) technology and the requirements of the IEC 61850 standard.
Relevance to the Power Sector
Conprove’s participation in this international event underscored the importance of integrating new technologies into the power sector and reinforced our role as a reference in testing, automation, and protection solutions. Through strategic partnerships and the development of technical research, we continued contributing to the advancement of electrical engineering in Brazil and worldwide.
