O efeito flicker é constituído por cintilações indesejadas no sistema de iluminação que são provenientes de variações periódicas da tensão elétrica. O Ps Simul conta com dois exemplos prontos que visam avaliar a saída PST de medidores flicker tanto de 120V/ 60Hz como de 230V/50Hz. Os respectivos testes de calibração constam na tabela 5 da norma IEC 61000-4-15.

Today we present another post from the Ps Simul example series! With it you can carry out evaluations of the PST (short-term flicker severity) output using flicker effect meters.
The flicker effect consists of unwanted flickers in the lighting system that arise from periodic variations in electrical voltage. Ps Simul has two ready-made examples that aim to evaluate the PST output of flicker meters of both 120V/60Hz and 230V/50Hz. The respective calibration tests are listed in table 5 of the IEC 61000-4-15 standard.
The examples in question are available free of charge in the PS Simul library, in the Support and Example Group G1 – Power Quality category.
