    [PT/EN] Hoje trazemos mais um dos artigos Conprove apresentados no DPSP – Developments in Power Systems Protection Conference! O trabalho é intitulado “Realistic Methodology for Fault Location and Protection Tests Based on Traveling Waves”.

    O presente trabalho aborda uma nova metodologia, um sistema composto por software e hardware que é capaz de modelar com precisão todos os componentes do sistema elétrico, incluindo as linhas de transmissão, e reproduzir formas de ondas até megahertz em níveis secundários, contemplando assim todos os requisitos necessários para avaliar os dispositivos de ondas viajantes (TW), sem criar pulsos artificiais.

    Today we bring you another one of the Conprove articles presented at the DPSP – Developments in Power Systems Protection Conference! The work is entitled “Realistic Methodology for Fault Location and Protection Tests Based on Traveling Waves”.

    The present work address a new methodology, a system composed of software and hardware that is capable of accurately modeling all the components of the electrical system, including the transmission lines, and reproducing wave forms up to megahertz at secondary levels, thus contemplating all the necessary requirements for evaluating the traveling waves (TW) devices, without creating artificial pulses.
